A fox mask, 狐面 beneath it. White on black. Women’s cut.

狐面 is kitsune-men, the fox mask. Foxes are the messengers of Inari, the kami of rice and trade, and stone foxes stand in pairs at the gates of Inari shrines across Japan. The mask is worn at festivals and in kagura dance, and sold at shrine stalls in summer. It carries the fox’s standing as a shapeshifter that can be a guardian as easily as a trickster.
Here the mask is drawn face on, ears up, eyes narrowed, the markings of the shrine mask picked out in line. Printed large across the back, with the wordmark at the left chest. Women’s cut.
